App Store Account
【App Store Account】What should I know before buying an App Store account?
What a foreign-region Apple ID is for, why it must only be signed in inside the App Store app, and the activation lock risk of signing into iCloud.
What should I know before buying an App Store account?
The App Store account sold on FoxVIP is a ready-made Apple ID registered in a foreign region. It has exactly one job: signing into that region's App Store so you can download apps unavailable in your own country. Before ordering, make sure you understand the rules below — especially the first one.
The one rule that matters most: never sign into iCloud
This account must only be signed in inside the App Store app (what the system calls "Media & Purchases"). Never enter it at the top of the Settings app:
- Signing into iCloud can automatically turn on Find My iPhone, binding your device to this shared account and creating an activation lock.
- Once activation lock is triggered, your iPhone or iPad can get stuck at a locked screen after a reset or restore, and only that account's password can unlock it. Untangling this is painful.
- This is the single most common — and most damaging — mistake with purchased accounts. Remember: iCloud stays on your own Apple ID; the purchased account goes into the App Store only.
What the account can do
- Sign into the specified region's App Store and download apps exclusive to that region (free apps download directly).
- If the account comes with a balance, it can pay for paid apps or in-app purchases in that region, as described on the product page.
- The account's region is fixed — changing the country/region yourself is not supported.
Check before you order
- The app you want is actually available in that region's App Store (ask support if unsure).
- You'll follow the tutorial and sign in only inside the App Store app — never iCloud, iMessage, or FaceTime.
- The password, security questions, and registration email are managed by FoxVIP; don't change them.
After purchase, the credentials appear on your order page under "My Subscriptions" on FoxVIP. If two-factor authentication pops up during sign-in, the code is also fetched from the order page via the "Get verification code / login info" button.
