Once the foreign account is signed in, just search and tap Get for free apps; paid apps are charged to the account balance.
How do I download apps from another region?
Once you're signed in with the foreign account, the App Store has already switched to that region's storefront — from there, downloading works exactly like it always does.
Download steps
- Confirm the foreign account is signed in inside the App Store app (tap the profile picture to check).
- Tap Search at the bottom and enter the app's name. Search in English or the region's local language for the best hit rate.
- Find the app in the results:
- Free apps: the button says Get. Tap it and confirm — the first download may ask you to enter the account password once more. - Paid apps: the button shows a price. Purchasing deducts from the account balance; if the balance is short, the purchase won't go through.
- The app lands on your home screen when done. Using it afterwards does not require staying signed in with this account.
Free vs. paid
- Free apps cost nothing from the balance and there's no download limit.
- Paid apps and in-app purchases can only be paid from the account balance. Never attach your own credit card or payment method to this account — it changes the account's security state and leaves your payment details on a shared account.
- When a downloaded app needs an update later and asks for a password, just sign back into this account to update — you only need it at download/update time.
If you can't find the app
- Make sure the app is actually published in that region — availability varies by country.
- Double-check the spelling, or open the App Store link from the app's official website.
- Verify the profile page shows the foreign account, not your own.
- Still no luck? Ask FoxVIP live support whether the app exists in that region.
