App Store Account
【App Store Account】The login details are wrong or don't match — what do I do?
Rule out copy-paste errors and the wrong sign-in location first, then contact support with your order number and a screenshot for a replacement.
The login details are wrong or don't match — what do I do?
If the account won't sign in, or the region or balance doesn't match the product description, follow this process — replacements are usually handled quickly.
Two things to rule out first
- How you entered the password: always copy-paste the Apple ID and password from the order page. Manual typing often confuses characters (l vs. 1, O vs. 0), and copied text sometimes carries leading or trailing spaces.
- Where you signed in: confirm you used the profile picture inside the App Store app. Different entry points produce different errors, and troubleshooting the wrong one wastes time.
When to contact support
If any of the following persists after the checks above, contact FoxVIP live support:
- Repeated "Apple ID or password is incorrect" errors.
- "This Apple ID has been disabled/locked."
- Signed in fine, but the region doesn't match the listing (see the region and balance article for how to check).
- Signed in fine, but the balance doesn't match the description.
- The account demands security questions or profile changes that your order page provides no answers for.
What to have ready
- Your order number (visible on the order details page under My Subscriptions).
- A screenshot: the error message, or the profile page showing region/balance.
- A one-line description, e.g. "wrong password, can't sign in" or "balance doesn't match listing."
With those in hand, support will verify and arrange a replacement account or make up the difference. Until then, don't modify the account in any way (password, security questions, payment methods) — changes complicate the after-sales review.
