App language lives in your profile settings; audio and subtitle tracks are switched from the icon in the top-right corner during playback.

How do I change the language and subtitles on Disney+?

There are two separate settings: the app language (menus and buttons) is set in your profile, while audio and subtitles are chosen during playback. Both take a few taps.

① Change the app/interface language

  1. Click your avatar → Edit Profiles → select your profile.
  2. Open App Language and pick your preferred language.
  3. Save — menus, titles, and descriptions switch immediately.

This only affects your own profile, so set it however you like without touching anyone else's.

② Change audio and subtitles while watching

  1. Start playing any title.
  2. Tap or click the keyboard/dialog icon in the top-right corner of the player.
  3. Choose your audio track on the left and subtitle language on the right.

Your choice sticks for future titles where that language is available.

Why is my language missing?

Available audio and subtitle tracks depend on both the title and your region — a show may have a dub in one country's catalog but not another's. If a language you need isn't listed, it simply wasn't licensed for that title where you are; checking a different title will confirm the setting itself works.
