What should I know before buying Duolingo Plus?

How the service works

1. Duolingo's official Family Plan holds up to 6 members, including the plan owner.
2. FoxVIP assigns one of those seats to you. After checkout, your order page shows a family plan invite link.
3. You open the link, sign in with your own Duolingo account, and accept the invitation. The Super badge appears on your account right away.
4. You never hand over your password to anyone, and you never sign in to somebody else's account.

Check these before you order

• You already have a Duolingo account (email, Google, or Apple sign-in all work). If not, create a free one in the app first.
• Your account has no active Super subscription. If you previously subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel it and let it expire first — otherwise you would be paying twice.
• You remember how you log in to your account, since accepting the invite requires signing in through a browser or the app.

Do's and don'ts

• Do: study any courses as usual, use every Super feature, change your own nickname and avatar freely.
• Don't: forward your invite link to anyone else, leave the family plan on your own and expect the seat back, or request a second seat during an active term. One seat belongs to one account, and a seat you abandon is not guaranteed to be restored.
