What if the invite link is expired or I can't join?

Duolingo family invite links are time-limited, so an old or already-used link will simply stop working. Your first move is always the same: go back to your order page and pull a fresh link — that fixes most cases.

Get a fresh link

1. Log in to FoxVIP, open My Subscriptions, and find your Duolingo Plus order.
2. Click Refresh invite link (shown as a refresh/update button on some orders).
3. Run through the join flow again with the new link. The old link is dead — stop clicking it.

Troubleshoot by error message

"This invitation has expired" The link aged out. Just regenerate it.

"This family plan is full" Your seat hasn't been freed up yet, or a previous member hasn't been removed. Contact support; once the backend clears the seat you'll get a working link, usually quickly.

The link just dumps you on the Duolingo homepage with no prompt Usually you are already signed in to a different account, or the browser truncated the URL. Sign out of all Duolingo sessions, copy the complete link, and open it in a private/incognito window.

"You already have a subscription" There is an active Super on your account — typically an App Store or Google Play auto-renewal you forgot to cancel. Cancel it, wait for it to lapse, then accept the invite.

Accepted, but no Super badge in the app Force-close and reopen the app, or log out and back in. If that fails, double-check that the account you accepted with is the one you're using in the app.

Try once more on a different device (phone vs. computer) and a different network. If everything fails, contact FoxVIP live support with your order number and the exact error text you see — support will verify the seat and resend the invitation.
