How do I delete my Gemini conversation history?

There are two entry points: delete chats one by one from the Gemini sidebar, or delete by time range at myactivity.google.com. On a shared account, only delete your own chats.

Method 1: delete from the Gemini page (recommended)

1. Open gemini.google.com and find the chat under Recent in the left sidebar.
2. Hover over the chat title and click the ⋮ (three-dot menu) that appears.
3. Choose Delete, then confirm.
4. The chat disappears from the list, and its activity-log entries are removed along with it.

Method 2: delete by time range at myactivity

1. While signed in, open myactivity.google.com/product/gemini.
2. Click the Delete dropdown above the activity list.
3. Options include "Last hour", "Last day", "All time", and "Custom range".
4. Pick "Last hour" or a custom range covering your own session, then confirm.

Warning: "All time" wipes the records of every user on the account. Never use it on a shared account.

• Want automatic cleanup: myactivity offers auto-delete for activity older than 3, 18, or 36 months, but it's an account-level setting — check with support before changing it.
