Can I use Gemini Pro features in Gmail and Docs?

Yes. Google One AI Premium includes Gemini inside Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive. Open any of those apps with the account from your order and the features are there.

Where the entry point is

1. Stay signed in to the Google account, then open docs.google.com and create a document (or open gmail.com, sheets.google.com).
2. Click the Gemini star icon in the top-right corner — a Gemini side panel slides out on the right.
3. Type an instruction in the panel, e.g. "Summarize this document in 5 bullet points" or "Expand this outline into a paragraph".
4. Inside a Docs file you can also click Help me write on an empty line to draft text in place.

Typical uses

• Docs: draft, rewrite tone, summarize long documents.
• Sheets: describe what you need and get a table built, or have formulas explained.
• Gmail: summarize long threads, draft replies.
• Drive: ask Gemini about a file's contents right from the side panel.

Boundaries on a shared account

• Gmail here is the shared account's public mailbox — don't use it for personal mail or website signups.
• Files you work on in Docs/Sheets are visible to other users; download important results and delete the cloud copy when finished.
• Side-panel language support is still rolling out; switching the interface language to English exposes the most complete feature set.

If the Gemini icon is missing

• Confirm the avatar in the top-right is the order's account, not your personal one.
• Refresh, or sign in again in a fresh incognito window.
• Some newer features roll out by region in batches; a few days' wait is normal.
