【Gemini Pro】What should I do when Google shows a security prompt or asks for verification?
How to handle "Verify it's you" screens, new-device alerts, and verification codes when signing in, using the code button on your FoxVIP order page.
What should I do when Google shows a security prompt or asks for verification?
Google is strict about sign-ins from new devices, so a "Verify it's you" screen is normal. Most checks can be passed with the Get code / login info button on your FoxVIP order page.
Common verification screens and how to pass them
1. Asked for the recovery email or phone
When the screen says "To make sure it's you, confirm..." and lists several options:
- Pick "Confirm your recovery email" or "Enter recovery email" if available.
- Go back to your FoxVIP order page — the recovery email is usually printed in the login notes; if a verification email needs to be received, click Get code / login info to view it.
- Enter the value on the Google page and click Next.
2. Asked for a 6-digit code
If Google says "A code was sent to xxx":
- Click Get code / login info on the FoxVIP order page.
- Refresh every 10–30 seconds and enter the latest 6-digit code on the Google page.
- Codes expire quickly — enter it right away. If it expires, click "Resend" on the Google page and fetch a fresh code.
3. "Unusual activity detected" or sign-in blocked
- Switch networks (for example, from Wi-Fi to mobile data) and retry.
- Use a fresh incognito window or clear cookies before signing in again.
- After 3 failed attempts, stop trying — the account may be temporarily protected. Contact support instead.
How to avoid triggering verification
- Stick to one device and one browser, and stay signed in instead of logging out.
- Don't sign in and out repeatedly across multiple devices in a short time.
- Never click "Change password", "Update recovery options", or any other security settings.
If the problem persists, contact FoxVIP live support with your order number.
