What if Google asks for verification during sign-in?

Pass Google's sign-in challenge with the recovery email from your order page, and what to do when only phone verification is offered.

What if Google asks for verification during sign-in?

Google routinely challenges sign-ins from a new environment. The most common prompt asks you to confirm the recovery email — that's exactly what's listed on your FoxVIP order page, so just paste it in.

Case 1: "Confirm your recovery email"

  1. Choose the "Confirm your recovery email" option on the verification screen.
  2. Go back to your FoxVIP order page and copy the recovery email from the delivered credentials.
  3. Paste it into the box → click "Next". If it matches Google's records, you're through.

The address must match exactly, including everything after the @ — even a stray space fails the check.

Case 2: No recovery email option shown

Verification screens usually hide extra options behind "Try another way". Work through them in this order:

  1. "Confirm your recovery email" available → use the recovery email from the order page.
  2. Only "Get a verification code at your recovery email" → open the order page and click the "Get verification code / login info" button to view the code, then enter it.
  3. Only "Enter a phone number to get a text" and your order didn't include a phone number → do not enter your own number (it gets attached to the account and can trigger further checks). Stop there and contact FoxVIP live support with your order number.

How to trigger fewer challenges

  1. Don't hop between IPs. Signing in from several regions in one day is the top cause of challenges and temporary locks. Whatever network you used for the first sign-in, stick with it.
  2. Don't race multiple devices. Sign in on one device, use it normally for a day or two, then add others.
  3. Don't hammer a failed check. Repeated failures escalate to stricter verification. Wait 30 minutes to a few hours before retrying.

Still stuck?

  • Recovery email is definitely correct but still rejected: screenshot the verification screen and ask support to re-check the delivered credentials.
  • The page says the account is disabled rather than asking for verification: that's a different situation — see "What if my account is disabled or flagged?"
