【GPT Plus】ChatGPT is asking for a login code — where do I get it?

When ChatGPT requests an email verification code, fetch it with the Get Verification Code button on your FoxVIP order page. The trigger-then-fetch order matters.

ChatGPT is asking for a login code — where do I get it?

After you enter the password, ChatGPT sometimes asks for a one-time verification code sent to the account's email. You can pull that code straight from your FoxVIP order page — no access to the mailbox needed.

The correct sequence

The code is "trigger first, fetch second." Order matters:

  1. On chatgpt.com, enter the account email and password and continue until you reach the screen asking for a verification code — this is what makes OpenAI send the code email.
  2. Keep that page open. In a new tab, log in to FoxVIP, open My Subscriptions, and open the order.
  3. Click the Get Verification Code button on the order page.
  4. Wait about 30 seconds to 2 minutes; the page displays the latest 6-digit code. If nothing shows, wait half a minute and click again.
  5. Go back to the ChatGPT tab, enter the code, and finish signing in.

Troubleshooting

  • The code is rejected as invalid: codes expire quickly (roughly 10 minutes) and only the newest one counts. Click "Resend code" on the login page to trigger a fresh one, then fetch again from the order page.
  • Nothing appears after clicking Get Verification Code: confirm you actually reached the code-entry screen first. No trigger, no email.
  • Shared account collisions: if another user is logging in at the same moment, codes can get crossed. Wait a few minutes and try again so your attempts don't overlap.

If it still fails, contact FoxVIP live chat with your order number.
