GPT3.5
【GPT3.5】What are the network requirements for GPT3.5?
ChatGPT isn't available in Hong Kong or mainland China — you need your own VPN routed through a supported region like the US, Japan, or Singapore.
What are the network requirements for GPT3.5?
ChatGPT does not serve Hong Kong, Macau, or mainland China — a direct connection simply won't load. You need your own VPN tool with the exit set to a supported region before you can log in.
Recommended setup
- Pick the right region: use nodes in the US, Japan, Singapore, or Taiwan. Avoid exits in unsupported regions (Hong Kong, Macau, Russia, etc.).
- Use global mode: set your VPN tool to Global proxy so no ChatGPT traffic slips through a direct route via split rules.
- Stick to one node: hopping between IPs repeatedly triggers verification codes and can get logins blocked.
- Avoid overloaded nodes: free or heavily shared nodes are often already flagged by OpenAI — symptoms are a page that won't load or endless human-verification loops. Just switch lines.
Per-device notes
- Desktop browser: with the VPN active, visit
chatgpt.com— if the login page loads normally, your environment is fine. - Mobile app: the phone needs its own VPN running with a supported-region node; a VPN on your computer does nothing for your phone.
Is my problem network-related?
- Page never loads, endless spinner → node is down or region unsupported;
- Repeated Cloudflare human checks → high-risk IP, switch nodes;
- "Unsupported country" message → wrong exit region; confirm traffic is actually going through the proxy.
FoxVIP does not provide the VPN tool itself. If you've switched nodes and it still won't work, contact FoxVIP live support with your order number so we can help diagnose.
