Grok

In most regions grok.com works directly; mainland China and some restricted regions need a network tool with a stable, fixed node.
Do I need a VPN to use Grok?
It depends on where you are. In most countries and regions, grok.com opens directly — no VPN needed. In mainland China and some other restricted regions, you'll need your own network tool to reach it.
If you need a network tool
- Choose a stable node and stick with it. Frequently switching IPs, or using crowded high-risk nodes, is the top trigger for Grok's security verification and can even block login outright.
- Log in and fetch your verification code on the same connection — don't change nodes mid-login.
Quick diagnosis: network problem or account problem?
If Grok won't load, first test whether x.com or the grok.com landing page opens at all:
- Page won't load at all → it's a network issue; fix your connection or node first.
- Page loads but login fails → it's an account/login issue; see the login troubleshooting article.
Per platform policy, FoxVIP does not provide or configure network tools — you'll need to arrange your own.
