HBO Max
【HBO Max】HBO Max is asking for an email verification code — where do I get it?
How to trigger and retrieve the HBO Max email code through the FoxVIP order page, and why timing matters.
HBO Max is asking for an email verification code — where do I get it?
The code goes to the account's registered email, which is held by FoxVIP — you retrieve it with the Get Verification Code / Login Info button on your order page. Trigger the code on the HBO Max screen first, then fetch it right away.
When HBO Max asks for a code
Normally you sign in with just email and password. HBO Max only emails a code when it sees something unusual — a sign-in from a new location or device, or a security check on the account. It's occasional, not every login.
Getting the code, in order
- On the HBO Max screen, click the button that sends the code (e.g. Send code / Verify email). Do this first — the code only exists after HBO Max sends it.
- Log in to FoxVIP → My Subscriptions → open your HBO Max order.
- Click Get Verification Code / Login Info. The forwarded email code appears within a moment.
- Type the code into the HBO Max screen and continue. Codes expire quickly — usually within 10–15 minutes — so don't let the page sit.
If the code is rejected
- You grabbed an old code. If you clicked "send" on HBO Max more than once, only the most recent email is valid — click the order-page button again and use the newest code.
- It expired. More than ~15 minutes passed. Trigger a fresh send on HBO Max, then fetch again.
- Nothing shows up. Wait 1–2 minutes after triggering, then retry the button; the forward isn't always instant.
- Wrong order of operations. If you fetched before triggering, whatever you see is stale — always trigger first.
If the issue persists, contact FoxVIP live support with your order number.
