【Netflix】Netflix says my password is wrong — what now?
The password on a shared account rotates from time to time; check the order page for the latest one or skip passwords entirely with a sign-in code.
Netflix says my password is wrong — what now?
Don't keep retyping it — the account password is rotated periodically for security, and the one you saved is probably stale. The current password is always on your FoxVIP order page.
Get the current password
- Log in to FoxVIP → My Subscriptions → open your Netflix order.
- Refresh the page and copy the password shown there — copy-paste rather than typing, since Netflix passwords are case-sensitive.
- Sign in at netflix.com with the account email and the freshly copied password.
Even easier: skip the password
If the password keeps failing, use a sign-in code instead:
- On the Netflix sign-in page, choose Use a Sign-In Code.
- On your order page, click Get Verification Code and enter the code Netflix sent.
This bypasses the password entirely and works even mid-rotation.
Seeing a "technical error" instead?
That message is usually temporary on Netflix's side:
- Wait a minute or two and try again.
- Try a different browser or an incognito window to rule out cached credentials.
- If it persists on every device, check the order page for updated login info.
Important: stop hammering the sign-in
Repeated failed attempts can temporarily lock the account for everyone sharing it. After two or three failures, stop, refresh the order page, and switch to the sign-in code method. Never use Netflix's "Forgot password" flow — resetting the password breaks access for all other seats.
