Can I renew my Office 365 order?

Yes. Renew on FoxVIP before your order expires and you keep your current family seat — no new invitation to accept, and Office and OneDrive continue without interruption.

How to renew

1. Log in to FoxVIP → My Subscriptions → open your Office 365 order.
2. Click the Renew button on the order page, choose a duration, and pay.
3. Your seat's validity extends automatically. Nothing needs to be done on the Microsoft side — Office just keeps working.

Why renewing before expiry matters

1. Seat retention: renewing in time locks in the seat you're already sitting in, so your account never has to leave and rejoin.
2. No OneDrive turbulence: with no gap in the seat, your 1TB stays active and you avoid the transition period where over-quota files get locked to read-only.
3. Expired seats aren't held: once an order lapses, the seat is released to other users and your account is removed from the family group. Buying again means accepting a new invitation — and because of Microsoft's 12-month rule after leaving a family group, the same account may not be able to rejoin right away.

What happens if it lapses

• Your Microsoft account is removed from the family group. Desktop Office switches to read-only (view but not edit); the web apps still allow basic viewing.
• OneDrive drops back to the free 5GB. Files aren't deleted, but anything beyond 5GB can no longer be uploaded or edited — back up important files before expiry.
• Your own Microsoft account, email, and existing files are untouched. Nothing is lost.
