【Prime Video】Do I get my own profile on Prime Video?
Every FoxVIP seat comes with a dedicated profile whose watch history and Watchlist stay private; here is how to find and use yours correctly.
Do I get my own profile on Prime Video?
Yes. FoxVIP assigns each user a dedicated profile. Your watch history, Watchlist, and resume points are stored in your profile only — other users can't see them, and theirs won't clutter yours.
Finding your profile
- Open FoxVIP My Subscriptions → your Prime Video order. The order page names the profile assigned to you (for example, "User 3").
- Sign in at primevideo.com and click the avatar in the top-right corner to open the profile list.
- Select the profile matching your order page. On TV and mobile apps, the switcher is under the avatar or "My Stuff" area.
Profile rules
- A Prime Video account holds up to 6 profiles; FoxVIP pre-assigns all seats.
- Stick to your own profile. Don't rename others, don't delete any profile, and don't create new ones — that occupies someone else's seat.
- You may customize your own profile's name and avatar: primevideo.com → avatar → Manage profiles → edit your profile.
- Kids profiles filter mature content; if your seat is a standard profile, this setting doesn't affect you.
Common questions
- I watched something on the wrong profile. No harm done — the other user will just see it in their history. Switch back to yours and carry on.
- My profile disappeared. Another user may have deleted it by mistake. Contact FoxVIP live chat with your order number and it will be restored or reassigned.
- Can I lock my profile with a PIN? Prime Video's PIN works at the account level (purchase restrictions), not per profile. Please don't set one, as it would affect every user on the account.
