What should I know before buying Prime Video?

How Prime Video relates to your Amazon account

Prime Video has no separate login system — it runs entirely on Amazon accounts. In practice this means:

Shared-seat ground rules

1. Several users share one account, each on their own profile, so watch histories never mix.
2. The account supports up to 3 simultaneous streams. If you ever see a "too many devices" message at peak hours, just wait a few minutes.
3. Never change the account password, email, payment method, or country settings, and never delete other profiles. Doing so cuts everyone off and can void your order without compensation.
