What do I do when Prime Video asks for an OTP code?
This is Amazon's normal security check, not an account problem. The code goes to the email attached to the account, and you can read it directly from your FoxVIP order page via the Get verification code button.
The exact sequence (order matters)
Trigger the code first, then fetch it — and enter it promptly once you have it.
- Enter the email and password on the Prime Video sign-in page. When the "Two-Step Verification / Enter OTP" screen appears, Amazon has usually already sent the code. If there's a Send OTP button, click it once.
- Wait 30 seconds to 2 minutes for the email to arrive.
- Open FoxVIP → My Subscriptions → your Prime Video order → click Get verification code.
- The page shows the latest Amazon code (typically 6 digits). Check its received time to make sure it's the one you just triggered.
- Return to the sign-in page and enter the code before it expires, then submit.
If it doesn't work
- No code shows up / blank: the email may still be in transit. Wait a minute and click Get verification code again to refresh.
- "Invalid or expired code": codes are short-lived. Click Resend OTP on the sign-in page and repeat the steps with the newest code — an old code will always fail.
- Endless verification loop: repeated failures on one device tighten Amazon's checks. Clear the site's cookies or use a private/incognito window, switch networks, and try once more.
- A puzzle (Captcha) appears: just solve it; that's part of the normal flow.
After 3 failed rounds, stop and contact FoxVIP live chat with your order number — continued attempts risk a temporary lock from Amazon.
