Yes. Prime Video operates in over 200 countries and territories, but the catalog is licensed per region — the same account sees different movies and shows depending on where you're watching from.
How it works
- Amazon Originals — like The Boys, Reacher, or The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power — are available worldwide regardless of region.
- Third-party licensed titles vary by country. Your current location (IP address) determines the catalog you see.
- If a title shows "This video is currently unavailable to watch in your location," it simply isn't licensed for your region.
What to keep in mind
- Never change the account's country setting (the Amazon "Content Region"). FoxVIP sets it for all users; changing it disrupts everyone and violates the sharing rules.
- When traveling, the account still signs in fine — the visible catalog just follows local licensing and returns to normal when you're back.
- On your regular home network, no extra network tools are needed to watch.
Common questions
- Why can't I find a certain title? Check the spelling first, then consider regional licensing. Sites like JustWatch show which regions carry a title on Prime Video.
