How do I sign in to Prime Video on my TV with an activation code?

The easiest way onto a TV is the activation code: the TV shows a short code, you enter it at primevideo.com/mytv from your phone or computer, and the TV signs in automatically — no password typing with the remote.

Step 1: Get the code on your TV

1. Open the Prime Video app on your smart TV, Fire TV, Apple TV, or streaming box.
2. Choose Sign in, then pick Register on the Amazon website (not "Sign in on this device").
3. The TV displays a 5–6 character alphanumeric code. Leave this screen open.

Step 2: Enter the code on your phone or computer

1. On your phone's browser, open [primevideo.com/mytv](https://www.primevideo.com/mytv).
2. You'll be asked to sign in first: use the credentials from your FoxVIP order page (if an OTP is requested, fetch it with the Get verification code button).
3. Once signed in, type the TV's code into the Enter your code box and click Register device.
4. Within seconds the TV screen refreshes into the Prime Video home page.

Step 3: Pick your profile

Switch the TV to the profile named on your order page, and you're ready to watch.

If it doesn't work

• "Invalid or expired code": codes time out. Request a new code on the TV and enter the fresh one.
• TV doesn't react after registering: confirm both TV and phone are online, then relaunch the app and grab a new code.
• Can't sign in on the mytv page itself: complete a normal primevideo.com sign-in in the same browser first, then return to the mytv page.
• Older TV apps only offer password sign-in: entering the order-page email and password with the remote works too — mind the capitalization.
