Know before you order — how the FoxVIP family plan seat works, the same-country requirement, the group owner's address you'll enter, and Spotify's 12-month plan-switching limit.
Read this before buying Spotify Premium
FoxVIP sells a seat on a Spotify Premium Family plan: you join our family group with your own Spotify account, it gets upgraded to Premium, and all your playlists, likes, and follows stay exactly where they are. Please check the points below before ordering.
What you get
- Your own account, upgraded: no new account needed — once you accept the invite, your account shows the Premium Family plan.
- Full Premium features: ad-free listening, on-demand playback, offline downloads, and top audio quality — identical to buying directly from Spotify.
- Privacy: family members can't see each other's playlists or listening history.
Three things to confirm first
- Your account's country must match the family group's. Spotify requires every member to be in the same country. If yours doesn't match, you'll need to change it at spotify.com/account before joining — in some cases this requires a network connection from that country.
- You'll enter the group owner's address, not your own. Spotify verifies that all family members share one home address, so during joining you must enter the address shown on your FoxVIP order page.
- Spotify limits family plan switching. An account can only join a different family plan a limited number of times within 12 months. If you've recently left another family plan (including one from another seller), you may be temporarily blocked — factor this in before ordering.
What happens after payment
Open FoxVIP → "My Subscriptions" → your Spotify order. The order page provides the family invite link and the group owner's address; follow the joining guide and you'll typically be done within a few minutes.
If you're unsure about your account's country or the switching limit, contact FoxVIP live support before placing the order.
