Will changing my country affect my playlists?

No. Playlists, Liked Songs, and the artists and podcasts you follow are tied to your account, not your region. They stay untouched after a country change — no backup or migration needed.

What stays exactly as it is

• Every playlist you've created, including collaborative ones
• Your Liked Songs
• Followed artists, podcasts, and other users
• Listening history and taste data (recommendations keep building on it)

What does change

• Recommendations and charts: the home feed, Top Charts, and editorial playlists switch to the new region's content.
• The occasional grayed-out track: a small number of songs may lack licensing in the new region and appear gray and unplayable. They stay in your playlists and come back if licensing changes or you switch the region back.
• Some podcasts: a few shows are only published in certain regions and may not be searchable in the new one.

One thing worth knowing

The app's display language follows your device settings, not your account country, so the interface won't change. Downloaded songs keep working offline — if one stops playing, just re-download it.
